He is a Primary school teacher and has taught at several schools around Victoria, sharing his passion for music and sport. David has also spent time as a musician, statistician, website administrator, amateur sports journalist and basketball coach, and is a doting uncle to three nephews and two nieces. Having grown up in a Christian home, David committed his life to Jesus in 2001 at age 20 and hasn't looked back. He has served in several churches, leading worship, communion, preaching, kid's ministry and playing bass guitar and drums. David started sponsoring with Compassion International in 2006, and over the last eight years God captured his heart so fully with His love for the poor, he financially sponsored 55 children and visited 31 of them in 12 countries.
