"A Year", is the second book in the Geronimo O'Brian series. It picks up about seven months after the end of the first book, "Revenge at Four Corners Monument". Geronimo O'Brian life will be filled with joy, heartbreak, stress and worry. With help from family, friends and his visions, he survives the year with a better appreciation of life, and love. Ludwig Bach Carson lll had gotten out of prison, with only one thing on his mind REVENGE. He does not care who he has to use or what he needs to do, to achieve his goal. Geronimo stood in the door way watching the sun slowly rise from behind distance the mountains, it was unseasonal warm for the first of days of spring. Taking a sip of tea, he thought about his and Juanita's life, they have been married for just over six months, turned thirty this past February. In mid- April, their son would be born, named after his best friend Tim, he missed Tim, still regretted not getting to him sooner to help him. In two and half months he would be taking the bar exam. He smiled at the sound of Juanita moving around in the bedroom. He turned closing the door, walking over to stove he picked up a pot of boiling water and fixed Juanita some tea. He made a mental note to call Chief Lewis, he had some question about the exam. He had not heard from his mentor in several days, which was unlike him not to be on Geronimo's case about studying for the exam. If Geronimo only knew or had a vision of how the next year would turn out, he may have reset time back.
