Not only that the author identified the possible sources of spiritual weaknesses such as habits, demon possession or generational transfer, he goes on to discuss the manifestations as evidence in lusts, wrath, pride, excessive use of tongues, unforgiveness, quest for power, ungratefulness, rebellions tendencies, self-centeredness, covetousness, laziness, to mention but a few. The book does not only highlight the sources of weakness in many Christians, but also dwelt on the effect on our lives, if not quickly identified and addressed. According to him, weaknesses destroy destiny, cause stagnancy and frustration, open the door to demonic attacks, attract shame and humiliation, hinder prayers and even deny the careless ones eternity with God. Suffice it to say that all Christians are vulnerable to developing one weakness or the other, but we must avoid a situation whereby we allow our weaknesses to snatch us from Christ. Rather, when we identity any weakness in us, we must address same expressly, and reconcile with Christ. We must always ask for the grace of God to make us triumph over our weaknesses. We must not rely on our salvation alone, but to allow the Holy Spirit of God to be in control of our lives at all times.
