Vietnam vet Paul Gebler is back in the South China Sea. This time as an oil man, on the hunt for oil instead of men. But that soon changes. Up for the big buck, he gets entangled in a maze of diplomatic intrigue over the Spratlys involving China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, Taiwan, and the Philippinesfor a start. Gebler is then thrust back into a dangerous underworld of midnight assassins that was his soldiers life many years before.
