For some, our journey is fraught with an abundance of losses, from neglect to the death of a loved one. How do we get through life while encountering this adversity? I see us as a combination of body and spirit uniquely molded together, created to provide us with the opportunity to expand our understanding of ourselves and each other. From the details of our life, to the overview of years and generations, we see how we were forged through the fires to become who we are. Becoming aware of the cultural and social conditioning is the key to changing ourselves. Journey with me through my experiences to extract some understanding for release, acceptance, and love. Through my memoir, you will see how I found greatness in myself, my worth, and value, and, hopefully this will show that you too can gain those insights through the process of finding grace in loss.
