Both growing up with absent parents in the gritty Portsmouth, Va. streets, they still manage to survive and get out. However, somewhere along the line, they both got different perspectives on sisterhood. Nesha has been living life not really thinking about the next person feelings. She is tired of being the go-to friend to Lola only to have her disappear when she need her the most. Lola wants love and will seek it wherever she feels safe.
