The Gypsy & The Count S S Engle
The Gypsy & The Count
S S Engle
Eastern Europe has already begun to see it's fair share of territorial changes, and the fighting has not yet been going on for a single year. Russia has lost hundreds of thousands of men to the hands of their German and Austro-Hungarian rivals. Such losses so quickly had not been calculated, or expected. Now working from the position of a proud underdog, determined to make up for their losses in record time, Russia is a mess of ambitious activity on the Prussian Front to the north. With so many casualties, gypsies have been forced into service as expendables on the front lines, and Aanya has followed her loved ones in the hopes of trying to keep them safe from the troubles of war. But a fierce standoff at the Osowiec Fortress will test everyone's limits, and their humanity. The Great War has introduced new, cruel and unusual weapons to the battlefields in the form of gas. Russia isn't prepared, nor are the gypsies for what they've been thrust into. Unable to sit on the sidelines from his removed and newly exalted position in the aristocracy, the Count has pledged himself an active member of the fighting front. But will 1915 prove to be too much for him to handle when his social responsibilities begin to interfere with the duty to his fellow countrymen?
