The Trip
Ray Altomare
High-powered hallucinogens and high-school romance mix to bring the hardships of adolescence into a new light. In sunny Southern California, Jake Rivera enjoys his loner-stoner role in High School. An over-sized ego and piss-poor attitude have alienated him from nearly every one of his peers, until an experiment with LSD leads Jake down a new path. Jake finds himself in a new crowd, and a romantic relationship which forces him to check his ego at the door and confront his fears of growing up. Will Jake learn to accept responsibility for his actions? Or will the boy have to face the consequences that come from running from his fears and mistakes? Pack your bags and wrap a rubber-band around your wrist- you're about to embark on one hell of a trip.
