Many people don't believe in monsters. However, some know how dangerous the world really can be. At the Elemental Academy for the Gifted, they struggle with these issues daily. The school trains elementals-people with powers over the elements-to fight against these evil creatures and protect humanity. It's a new age where darkness spreads like wildfire and four people are destined to stop it... Harper is a teenager, but something sets her apart from other kids her age. She has the power to control the earth and plants. At the Elemental Academy for the Gifted, she learns how to control her abilities and make them stronger. After an evil being recognizes her potential and kidnaps her, Harper learns of a prophecy that destines herself and three other students to either save the world, or destroy it. In the battle over humanity, which side will prevail? Will Harper and her newfound friends overcome the darkness or will she give in to the shadow and allow the world to be destroyed?
