Random conversations with homeless friends, including one that was a street pharmacist, and the other one who was a teacher turned drunk. Waking up at wee hours in the morning by local law enforcement for sleeping in the car and starving days at a time. These are some of the events that allowed me to evolve as a person and as a businessman. As a College dropout, I saw countless friends graduate and end up with high paying jobs. As for me, I was unemployed, living out my car, with no money to spare, borrowing idle time. The only help I had was a yellow card that read Golden State Advantage on it. Which in fact, was my E. B. T card, a Government Assistance Program that allowed me to buy food. I never wanted to depend on the same program that my mom depended on when I was a child but sometimes history repeats itself. It was up to me to break the cycle. I had no place to lay my head, no friends to count on, just a dream that hasn't came into fruition. I was getting ready to embark on a long awaited journey, in which some would deem inconceivable, but to me, was just a business plan away. I knew starting a Business without a degree, or corporate experience was going to be a tough task, but I was born with the odds against me already. This was just one last obstacle I had to overcome to change my life, and other people's lives for the better.
