Interactive Voice Response(IVR) System are gaining wide acceptance in a large number of application areas like Department of Telecom,airlines/Railways, Banks and various other organizations. IVR systems provide access to computer databases through normal telephones. A user can access a remote computer data base by dialing a specified IVR system number and obtain the required information by dialing the specified digits as informed by the computer. This book provides all the details on the project(IVR System for college automation) which allows the user to know the student?s attendance and marks quickly through the telephone line without the intention of the college authority. In the hardware side embedded system has been used. A 20 pin microcontroller 89C2051 is used because of its compatibility with the hardware. This microcontroller controls the whole hardware. Telephone line is used for communication purpose. Visual Basic has been used for software programming. This book will be especially useful to professionals who are interested in doing work in the field of micro controller, IVR System etc.
