In the Shepherd's Hands
Rose M White-Davis
In this must-read memoir, Rose White-Davis shares practical nuggets of truth about her lifelong ministerial learning experience under the loving tutelage of her mentor. The Shepherd's Hand is the endearing story of Bishop William C. Abney (1926-2007) and his ability to disciple and spiritually develop in a Midwestern-turned-Southern woman the mandates of an ecclesiastical worldview.
Set against the backdrop of Bethel Pentecostal Church / Bethel Abundant Life Center--"the Church in the Heart of the City, with the City in its Heart"-- Associate Pastor Rose demonstrates her deep respect and platonic love for the pastor who shepherded her under his anointed leadership and prepared her to preach, to teach, and to make disciples (Matthew 28:19, 20; Acts 2:38).
