This is a novel set in Ancient Egypt, not dusty tombstones and mummies but a vivid life and love of an Egyptian Priest for his servant girl, a nomad from the desert. There are many characters and two different forms of life melded into one not with this love but that of his son and the girls brother. There is a violent earthquake which shatters their lives in many ways, crippling the Priests son and eventually blinding the priest. In the nomadic world they call for the return of the girls brother to be their new leader, he takes with him his sophisticated Egyptian bride, diffent lives, but love springs eternal. There is a twist at the end of the tale. I think you will find this book is well worth reading. There is more coming from the pen of Gabrielle Wynter - watch this space.
