What Do You Do When Everything's Closed?
Lindsay Kara
What do you do when everything's closed
And you're left on the couch glumly picking your nose?
When you can't visit school or the park or a friend?
When it's bad to go out and it's best to stay in? Stuck at home and missing his best friend, young Alfie has run out of things to do. With a nudge from his dad, he transforms a pile of old boxes in the garage into Quarantina, a giant and agreeable robot. With his boxy friend by his side, Alfie begins to find joy in the strange new circumstances. Inspired by a true story and accompanied by vibrant cut-paper illustrations, What Do You Do When Everything's Closed? is ideal for preschoolers and elementary-age children.
