Things are looking up for Matt Cole. His private detective agency is prospering and his personal life has settled down to the extent that his only real worries are his bourbon intake and a lack of intimate female companionship. But then a specter from Matt's past walks into his office and draws him back into the underworld of the Los Angeles mob.
