"FOUR NOVELLAS" "Flashes of Lightning" 37,900 words. Drama. The life of the world's first superstar, the rambunctious and rebellious Edmund Kean, his rise to fame and his tumultuous life, is juxtaposed with the modern day superstar, Nick Lathuro, who must play him in a bio-graphical movie. Kean is the genius who made acting 'real' and Lathuro would seem to be his unruly incarnation. "BullsEye" 8,600 words. Mystery. A bank robber makes a desperate bid for freedom, hides out on a ranch, but finds himself championing a poor senorita whose cattle are being dissected by aliens...or so it seems. "The Bazza Chronicles" 31,900 words. Biographical. A hilarious, delightful and often touching recollection of an eccentric friendship. Bazza is proof positive that the Caesars still live among us. "Suicide Is Self-Defeating" 30,000 words. Comedy. An adventurer who novelises his exploits under the guise of serial character, Rocky Buckfield, realises age has caught up with him and so decides on the ultimate escapade; to the future via cryogenic suicide.
