Unexpected Tales 2
Matt Coburn
This is the second anthology of short stories written by a variety of talented authors whose primary uniting factor - other than the love of writing - is simply sharing the OX29 postcode. This tantalising collection of 15 new stories delivers to readers a wonderful range of genres, styles and ideas - racing through history and time and across cultures and continents. Discover unusual characters vying for your attention and even affection - what makes PH1L unique, can Alter Ego be silenced, and who is the unknown gent? Perhaps not surprisingly, Oxfordshire features as the backdrop for several stories: an over-developed Witney with its new futuristic m-way and mega casino; a Dan Brown-esque sinister pursuit in the Bodleian, and a treacherous underground investigation in Botley. Prepare to be entertained and surprised: after all, these are unexpected tales.
