It had stopped so abruptly, almost as quickly as if started. A game of Scrabble, a glass of wine, candlelight, the sound of the wind blowing and the rain on the roof, helps to make for a wonderfully romantic night for Grant and Perry. Until the thunder crashes and then all hell breaks loose. Putting more of a strain on the home than the protective windows can take. After The Rain is a short story that teeters on the diversity of relationships in the gay community, as well as the many challenges for any couple. It stems from a man that has a simple dream for his life and the need to find that one man to help him live it.
