If D. T. Niles is correct: evangelism is one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread. Then it would stand to reason that community evangelism can be described as one beggar bringing to another beggar, the bread they have found.

"Leave a little extra behind" is a philosophy, a principle, and a proverb found in every culture around the globe. Nearly everyone engages in comforting and sharing with those persons dealing with life's unexplained and devastating circumstances.

The purposes of this book is an attempt to explain Boaz's motivation for providing food, shelter, protection, and a future economic recovery plan for Ruth and her family. Is it love, compassion, or something more than our human hearts can comprehend?Can local congregations, large and small, use this motivation to be the catalyst for economic recovery in the city and small-town USA?Is faith and prayer alone enough?
