Down by the Flowers

A man wishing he was back with his wife and child, a child he has yet to see because he had been gone so long. Peterson was in Vietnam, ready for the task his Staff Sergeant Thompson had given him. To lead a group of men he had never met to an enemy Vietnamese camp for supplies, struggling to lead the group of men, things take a number of unexpected turns and events that leave the group in peril, fighting for their lives. Peterson thinks about his wife more than anything. But right now, he's thinking about staying alive.
