Baring the Soul
Rogelio Castillo
Undressing was born from the memories that were stored in a corner away from my memory. It was the never forgotten absence who took me out of the lethargy of absent words, who reminded me that the heart can love without forgetting whims of youth. More than a decade has passed since I was absent from myself, I lost myself among other people's verses forgetting those that I had stored in my soul. Today, after regaining the momentum of living, I resumed this journey of prose with meaning. To summarize, without giving up my soul, I invite you to navigate over each letter of this love book. If you are there, hiding your crowded feelings, your lost truth, do not be afraid to bare your soul. Come and live each of these poems as if they were yours.
