This book reflects the pain of countless women in today's era who face the social behavioral towards being barren through this unique story between a rich simple girl and the engineer who happens to be the only son of a naxalite leader. With great difficulties they both get married and later discover that they cannot bear a child. It leads them to mental trauma to face social stigma and some excruciatingly embarrassing moments from the society, especially parents. At the end the novel reveals the potential result to the problem which is not acceptable by our society who although exercise the authority of IVF (In vitro fertilization) .
