Herta Rousseau was born in Frankfurt, Germany and lived with her husband and children and various animals in Louisiana. After she became a widow she moved to California where a number of cats adopted her. Including animals, she

had many interests and hobbies during her lifetime, but devotes most of her time now to helping cats.
