Artist/Writer Tori Bleu is possibly the "Dopest" creative writer of her time. Having primarily focused on songwriting, she looked into pop and hip hop culture and noticed the void of women in love and in successful relationships. Due to this, she decided to dedicate a year of her time to research and interview woman of all walks of life in an effort to determine WHY so many of us are single? She spoke with women ages 19-35, of all nationalities, who are Single and satisfied, Divorced, Married, and Dating. She found that while you would think our experiences (with love) are different, the experiences are very similar. She found that a lot of US were not taught and do not know how to apply some of the basic privileges that WE have as Women, and in addition WE do not know what that is. A lot of us (Women) are scorned, open to love but guarded, and ALL had been cheated on and lied to. WE struggle to feel beautiful from within. WE are unable to love and live freely and WE have not seen love. With this information, instead of putting it into a song, she decided to put the findings into 10 poems. The poems were written with the thought in mind "if you knew better you would do better." This book is the perfect collection of realistic RAW poetry. You will laugh, cry, and most importantly look inside yourself and decide "No More Excuses"
