And perhaps like all immigrants, she held on to her longing for St. Vincent and continue to do so. Her poetry directly speaks of this longing all while navigating love, lost, family, unabated joy, and spirituality. The first book entitled "I Hate Blue" released in 2013. Four years later she released second book entitled "Breadfruit." In these new poems she delves deeper into everyday routines and imagery.
