The Castle MacQueed With one phone call, Drake MacKay's life is wrenched in a direction that will change him forever. It is Gilles Breannen, his former adversary, calling to demand his presence at a 9th century Viking stronghold in Scotland to find The Book of the Angel Raziel, an enormously powerful and priceless artifact. The book's value-along with the Vikings' hoard containing millions of treasures from raids all over the world-easily entices a team of medieval enthusiasts, but what Gilles neglects to tell them is darker than they can imagine. Their quest will take them not to the ruins of a mighty stronghold . . . but back to the Castle MacQueed in her own time, 865 C. E.-on the evening of a bloody uprising against the viciously cruel King Raoghalt Bloodaxe. It quickly becomes apparent that Gilles, as enigmatic as he is wealthy, has his own deadly agenda. And Drake MacKay will discover that he is critical to its success for reasons he will not understand until everything he is-and everything he loves-is taken from him. But can he and his fellow team members survive the Castle MacQueed intact? Or will the castle take from them their very existence?
