America as a Theocracy, Where Liberty and Justice Are Redefined... The year is 2073, and America has recently ratified the Judeo-Christian Biblical Standards Amendment to the Constitution. No longer is there any separation of church and state. The USA is now a nation under a strict, judgmental God. Reverend Rachel DeLine, who has devoted her life to God and serving her fellow humans, is caught in the crossfire as the new amendment will strip her of her title and take away the ministry she has poured her heart and soul into. But just as she is preparing to deal with this heartbreaking loss, a young woman comes to her whose tragic need takes precedence over all other considerations, and who will inspire Rachel and those around her to make life-altering decisions they could never have imagined. Relevant, hard-hitting, and thought-provoking, Nation Under God presents a powerful dystopian vision of what America might look like under a repressive church government.
