The Lesser Evil: Evil Serves It's Own Purpose Whilst It Succeeds It Carries a Seed of Its Own Destruction

Vic Brandon, an ex-soldier struggling with his new civilian status is unable to get employment. Placing an advert in a newspaper brings Reggie Baker into his life. Baker sends him on an assignment to Dusseldorf to retrieve a car for him returning it to England. The drama begins when Vic's attacked at a roadside service area by two men attempting to steel the car. The assailants defeated, he finds the car's designed to smuggle illegal drugs. Realising it's value he decides to use it to his own advantage. Intrigue develops when John Hardwick a custom's officer requests an urgent meeting. They tell him Baker international transport company is being scrutinised, they're aware of his criminal activities but need evidence by which to convict him and the car gives that opportunity. Jenny Robin attends their meeting. Vic's intrigued she's the beautiful woman he saw in the Dusseldorf court. She has her own reasons to see Baker's demise blaming him for her husband's death. The trio devise a plan to trap Baker making him bid for the drugs and his car. Baker, infuriated kidnaps Jenny aboard his boat bartering her for the car. Vic leaps aboard Bakers boat to rescue her. Fighting at sea the boat catches fire. Jenny and Vic take refuge in a dinghy and drift away as the boat explodes and Baker's blown to smithereens. Coast guard helicopter investigating the fire lifts them both to safety and into each others arms.
