Big Dream Small World
Thomas Mathew Weir
BIG DREAM - Small World, is a quick read that is fun and entertaining. It offers a captivating blow-by-blow of a big restoration project. If you have ever had a project in mind that would gratify a dominant passion, you will want to read this book. If you are slightly hesitant to start that project, this book will encourage you to get started now. The magic of doing something extra ordinary is in the discovery. This author discovered more about himself than he did "how to restore an antique wooden boat". The book culminates with the author becoming acutely aware that he had brought an object, from the past, to its original awe inspiring craftmanship and beauty while being left with a humbling stillness after such an effervescent and sometimes chaotic four-year journey.
