Murder at the Con

When celebrity Garrison Williams is murdered at the Manhattan Comic Expo, Detective Jackson Winters and the Midtown South homicide unit catch the case. Orders from the mayor's office to tread lightly mean the unit has to navigate one of the world's largest pop-culture celebrations to find the murderer without causing a disturbance to the massive event. The pressure intensifies when a murdered cosplayer is discovered just a few blocks from the convention center the following day. Now, Jackson must rely on his new partner Julia Diaz' knowledge of all things sci-fi while wading through a suspect pool among the celebrity guests, network executives, and hundreds of people cosplaying a popular anti-hero, all while keeping the press at bay and the Chief of Detectives off his back.
