A Travelling Tale

Paul Keanon, the son of a rich philanthropist is removed from his peaceful, comfortable life in Minneapolis by a cryptic message from his father to bring a package to his home in Kathmandu. Written on the package is an unusual message
'DO NOT OPEN IN THE EVENT OF MY DEATH', curiously contradicting the well known 'Only to be opened after my death'.
Beginning as a visit with old friends and a promising family reunion, the trip becomes a race against evil forces that watch every move and threaten their lives. The package contents have been sealed for eons. A select group of caretakers have guarded the object over many lifetimes and many incarnations. Even the custodians, a seemingly normal British family, are unaware of its contents or the consequences should it be opened.
A secret society numbering in the millions scattered over the earth gather forces in a relentless search to secure the package.
Arriving at Paul's father's castle in Nepal the team discover that they have abilities beyond normal human aptitudes and that Jack Keanon has prepared for the looming war against the society. Now in the safety of Jack's fortress the team learn they have known each other in previous lives and have arrived at this moment in time with a task of battling intrinsic evil.
The current unstable world and rapid explosion of distrust, escalating political turmoil, and the expansion of corrupt government leaders who easily spread lies and deception, has resulted in effecting the hearts and minds of mankind culminating in a crescendo of fear crossing the doorstep of every household.
Similar to how cattle sense fear as they enter a slaughterhouse, an entity detects the rising energy of anxiety emanating from every corner of earth. This creature, has fed on the fear of beings across galaxies and detects earth is ready to be part of his dominion. With the help of his 'commander' on earth it travels across galaxies to secure the package, as it may bring an end to the human race.
